I think the difference between Kyber 2 and Kyber1 3 is more psychological this early on.
There's still a lot of settling going on in the rankings. Some players with less GP are pushing up and others with more GP are on a fast or slow decent. Given the group sizes are 8 players and you only face 3 of them, means its kind of a mixed bag of what kind of player you'll be matched with.
