- MM needs to be based on number of GLs owned. Or by how big of a whale you are. Lord knows they have everyone's purchases tracked.
In a game where people can spend thousands to be better than you it's never going to be fair. And it's frustrating as heck. Wish there was some good crystal intake from PvE stuff. "Jayngo;c-2356031" wrote:

Forceful yet respectful disagree on both fronts.- Bases on GP range. Its all we need to take a good MM working...

GP is irrelevant, it always has been. Take teams:
Take two teams - one DR team, all G12 and 6 dot mods. This team will have a similar GP to a team of Koth, CUP, Tusken, Mob Enforcer and Gamorrean Guard, all G12 with 6 dot mods.
Because these teams have the same GP, using GP for matchmaking would inherently assume these are ‘equal’ teams… but they are not. The DR team is a great squad, the other team might as well have a GP of zero.
Mods add GP, but the quality of mods doesn’t impact GP at all. Say I have a 6dot speed mod with Accuracy primary, garbage secondary stats. This has the exact same GP as a 6dot speed mod with Speed primary, 6% offence, 5% protection and 3% crit chance.
The first mod is useless, the second will help win. GP is exactly the same.
GP might have been useful as a reasonable proxy for roster quality, but now, it’s irrelevant. Gear, Mods, specific character and teams are all much more indicative of roster quality than GP. - harvestmouse13 years agoNew Rookie@Azure Well those 2 teams wouldn't have a similar GP, due to the relics. However, your overall point is very valid.
@PeachyPeachSWGOH I never realised how big Finback Whales are!!! However, where's the almighty kraken?!
@Jayngo If match making is based on how big a whale you are and or the GLs you own, what's the point in whaling? What's the point in spending money? That's the main problem. This is a pay to win environment. - *coff *coff

If you lose all your games, it will mean you don’t belong so high in the ladder, for whatever reason. If you win some… well your near zero chance wasn’t zero. Just play the game the best you can and see what happens. "Durandal;c-2356137" wrote:

Well...i would guess you will have on your history several wins that you thought were "near zero"...everyone that tries hard will...as many opponents with better rosters will not "try hard"...hence they being lower than they should...
Like said above...do your best...see what happens...if you lose then you will find easier opponents...- harvestmouse13 years agoNew Rookie
