Nobody can consistently win in GAC because it's designed for 50/50

Very few people would be more accurate. The system doesn’t prevent you to win 100% of your rounds when you’re at the very top.

Well no, because the top 8 get ranked together. Half of those will win less than 50%

I think at the start it was only Haweyes and Kabuki that looked like that had the system beat to a degree.

Well it does......(if we're using the word skill, which is strange). Basically, you will win or lose a lot (depending on your skill, power, knowledge, gp, usable gp, motivation etc) until you reach a place where you're about even. From that point on you'll roughly bob up and down until something changes. Due to squish and leagues you could say win 5/4 5/4 4/5 consistently and end up in the same place/places. Which isn't a 50/50 win rate.
