But what about those who are too good for the bracket? Ive been in Kyber 2-3 since I've been over 8m, your idea would mean I'm stuck getting less rewards in a lower league as I can't be in Kyber2 thanks to your system as my 11.6m isn't allowed in the higher Kyber ranks. No thanks, I (like many others) started somewhere low and worked my way up, maybe you and others should try that?
The current system is fine- everyone ends up where they should be eventually. Progress up brackets should be down to performance, not some arbitrary bracket system that is based purely on GP.
Kudos to you for fighting your way into Kyber on your shard, 8M in K2 is a rare achievement. I didn't say my idea was perfect, but it's a serviceable starting point for dealing with the long-standing issue of people hovering (intentionally) in lower brackets for easier matches.
Your advice to others is little more than "git gud", but how do you suggest my 6.1M guildmate beat their current opponent who's 10.8M? Not all shards are remotely equal, 8M can fight their way into Kyber or even the top of Kyber in one shard, and 8M has no hope of staying in Aurodium in another shard. As GAC is now, everyone isn't climbing the same hill with the same size rocks on it. My idea is trying to level it out.
I'm happy to discuss other ideas, thoughts, critiques, but we have got to be able to do something better than the system we have now.
