First OrderResistanceFun thread to keep track of player progress since the first set of requirements for Galactic Legends Rey and Kylo are announced. I might update this chart once a week or when the next set of requirements are out.After 24 hours, the character that most players have met the requirements for is Rey (Jedi Training). At this point of time, it looks like we will have more Rey than Kylo. It'll be interesting to see how many players are able to push these characters further after having one month of time to farm, and who they decide to chase

One week later and we have 830 eligible FOO with 209 players (r4) close enough to push him to r5. Its also the least out of the 3, assuming the same players are done or close to finishing FOST, and KRUWe went from 130 players with eligible Resistance Trooper to 1664, and 516 players close to relic 5, with a large number of Finn and JTR owners, probably due to the Sith raidIt seems the GL Rey to Kylo unlocks at this rate will be 2:1

I'm very surprised to see how much more popular Rey seems to be than Kylo. I thought for sure it would go the other way purely because it's so popular to be like "nyeehhh I don't like rey."

jtr has been a very good team esp for hsth for a long time, FO...hasn't really had a use so it makes sense to me.

It’s understood that whoever you choose, the kit is going to be pretty good

You’re going to have to r5 them eventually so it doesn’t hurt to work on them now than later

I’m already closer to both Galactics than I am to GAS, and we can be reasonably certain they are going to ease the Geo TB pain. I’ve had Matt and Jtr at R7 anyway, and I can see the uses for the new toons (and they are also fun!) Also, I want a good team for LS Geo TB and more good FO for the wall in TW. Honestly, FOST, Rose, and ResTrooper are my morning shard farms with a Single energy refresh, and I do FOX as well because I’ve been meaning to anyway. It doesn’t even take much and I can otherwise work on gear until we know more about what’s needed and the new toons are farmable. If I’m going to eventually go for these toons anyway, and there are things I can do to farm for them while waiting for more info, I might as well do those things. CG has always had beastly requirements, so those won’t be a surprise when they come. Add in crystals earned for relic needs and I really am not working any harder than I was for Malak and The Revans, and I get to accumulate characters that I like on the way.

Anyway, that’s just me, but this is an example of why people might be going all in.

The other one I can think of are players with older accounts than mine who already have GAS and no other legendaries, etc. to shoot for anyway. I guess they could twiddle their thumbs and pick at GeoTB for GET 2 until the next Content ™️, but most are probably just going to aim for the galactics anyway.

Update before we get the next set of requirements -- Most people are struggling with getting their Phasma up to shape but at this rate we are going to get 2k Kylo Ren's on release

Resistance Pilot and Poe holding most players back from Galactic Legend Rey but the real challenge will be if they require Rose, and then we'll have to see if people are going to continue with Rey or switch to Kylo

Why would you possibly gear up anyone on their list until the list is complete and you have a path to LS or DS as with 13 toons needed from (speculation R5-7) there is zero chance anyone with be able to R7 26 toons by the release...

Honestly this slow roll is the worse thing they could have done.... I’m sitting on everything right now except finishing off my troopers for Mundi... won’t spend until full list rolls out and I know the path to completion.

Instead of hoarding for 26 characters all the way to g13, you can just focus on the one GL you are interested. Its hoard and spend. You spend on what the minimum requirement is from CG, and hoard the rest until more of the list comes out

Its the same concept as waiting for the entire list first or upgrading your roster now as the list updates. Since there is no in-game gear tracker, I'd rather invest as the list updates rather than try to keep up with excel sheets, swgoh and whatever else outside of the game

I do like me a good excel sheet.

Also I'm in the odd position that I'm basically even on both sides. I'm maybe a few days from having what's needed for the FO requirements, and a week tops for the resistance ones. So I'm kinda up in their on which way to go...

So I'll update my spreadsheet and wait.

R6 Jedi Rey (holding off on 7 for now because those Zinbiddles huuuuuuuuuurt)
Finn just needs 25 droid callers and 21 injector handles, then g13.
Trooper needs almost all of his finisher, then g13.
Scavenger Rey needs the medpac, then g13.
Pilot has one piece of g12+, needs the three g12 pieces, other 12+, and finisher.
Poe needs armor g12, one g12+, and finisher.

The current bottleneck is that I need another 300 shock prods for Poe, Pilot, and Trooper. But I'm chipping away at it and making slow, but steady, progress! I won't get Rey the day she comes out, but I don't think it'll be more than a couple months after.

I’m just gonna skip them and hoard my resources for the next meta after them.

As a f2p it’s the only way I can keep up
