You've missed my point. I'm not saying there are no avenues for speeding up the process. I am saying that the extra step is superfluous. It only serves as an extra step, that is an anticlimactic ending to an already long journey. It worsens the feeling and experience for us users and customers. And to me that feeling is important when it comes to the journey.
Also, that shard exchange rate is horrendous.

I usually agree with you, but this is a crap take, dude. GL tickets for ult would be fine. GL tickets for shards is awful and it always was. Not stealing my tickets on failed attempts was a tiny improvement, but that's like putting frosting on a pile of crap on my plate. It's a still a pile of crap.
