Forget tanks. Get rid of kit and use JC. You need more than one healer in GW. GW is all about heal management. Lumi and JC are vastly superior for their actual heals; and they can actually do damage. Where is your lumi at?

Barris has a crap heal...I don't even run her anymore. I'll occasionally sub Barris in as a 3rd healer if I mismanaged my heal cool downs and need a clutch heal on a toon in the red.

I've completed 78 consecutive GW runs and haven't run a tank since I outgrew Chewie in my early 40s.

Umm that was my Arena Team.... my GW team consist of Phasma as lead, Q.G.J, Kylo, JC, and Barris with Talia as back up...but on stage five i had all 3 healers in and at the end of AI's turn I had one toon left standing how do you fend that?
and luminara is on farm mode with 17 more shards to go to unlock :(

I get these too. Those teams are easy to beat.

For those struggling, try using a more balanced approach. When you are facing the hard teams you want heals more frequently and staggered. I use JC/Lumi but Barris could also work in place of JC.

The key that many people miss in GW when facing the crazy teams is tempo. This is controlled by using stuns and speed down.

Until the matchmaking is fixed, and probably after you need to work in gear, stars, and ability levels. If you go in and get wiped take a look at your ability levels and gear levels. You don't want to use your arena team as is. You need heals backed by gear. I know it's easy for me to say because I have a full roster to choose from of 18 heroes 5* and above and gear 7+ but I had to work through the same stuff. Trust me it gets easier.

I get those teams a lot in the first 3. It's not an actual comp to even worry about.

Galactic war became unplayable :/

I got a really tough time with GW for a week, like one week ago, then it became much easier and have had to retreat only occasionally since... got lower level teams, or poorly equipped, or weird experimental crew, with the full max-out thing becoming the exception, not the rule.

So maybe it's just temporary? There's maybe light at the end of the tunnel (which lasted about 1 week for me). But in that time, I sure did focus a lot on levelling up my B-team (and C-, D- kamikaze squads too), tried all possible permutations of my folks, and fetched all relevant gear I could put my hands on.

It had nothing to do with my Arena rank: it got easier when I also climbed in Arena to ranks that were my highest ever.

I had similar experiences as some of you guys. GE has been a joke for about a month...i didnt even have to pay attention to complete it. Then yesterday i had trouble getting through 4 or 5 nodes. Today i was facing a full team of 70s all purple gear by node 3. Im only lvl 68, not sure how thats fair. Guess gw is done for me now too.

Yes Galactic Wars is all fucked up. I have a TIE pilot who's advantage didn't pop when an enemy's HP point was brought below 50%. I just thought that alone is enough to aggravate anybody I'm paying essentially for a broken game and they're raping everybody else way to go don't expect I'll be compensated for it either right?

Pretty much decide now if you want to focus on Arena or Galactic War. I mean, it's possible to do both for sure. But in general you either work exclusively on your A team to rank high in Arena or you build depth and finish GW. GW gives a lot more credits and you can move at your own pace.

Sorry but I think you underestimate the problem. I am lvl 49 and face lvl 60 with 6 stars. No amount of farming can beat such a difference. It is mathematically impossible to beat. My team gets wiped before I can even launch 1 attack. My chars gear is maxed until I get to higher lvls, so I am basically fighting a "computer says no" scenario. I could have 10 A teams with best characters and max gear at that lvl and they would all get wiped. Fighting 10 level higher opponents csn only have one outcome, slaughter

@EnderU Holy Ridiculous! Talk about impossible. Even with 4 healers and management that's going to be more like torture instead of fun. I still think they need to make the first 3 tiers easier. Save that rough stuff in the end.
