Gambling at the Casino

I am not a Gambling Man and do not appreciate spending my hard-earned money on a chance to get the characters I'm trying to get. If you want to open a casino by all means do so but I will not be participating anymore as far as money goes. When I go to make a purchase I want a guarantee that I get the items that I am giving my hard-earned money for and not a chance at it. If I want to gamble I will go to a casino or buy lottery tickets. Lucas games would be very smart that cut their relationship.
  • Harshly worded, but I fully understand your frustration. It seems wildly unfair and a boarderline out right scam
  • Luckily you can play this game and enjoy it without having to do that.

I’m a long term player and I have bought one crystal pack, which gave me 10 Home One shards. I bought the pack knowing that I needed those minimum 10 shards to reach 7* a month early. Any extra would have been a welcome bonus (didn’t happen).

Simple solution: when gauging the value of those packs assume you will get the minimum. If it’s worth it to you, then go for it. That way if you get the minimum you will be ok with it, and any extra is a bonus.

As much as I agree with this, Its fundamentally wrong. The cash packs are guaranteed to give you exactly the amount of shards it says, the packs that cost crystals are gambles, crystals can be gained free through playing and saving them. Of course based on the amount of crystals needed to actually 7* a character from 5-330 packs is kinda crazy to get through saving crystals so it makes sense that you would assume that $ is needed but it technically isnt $ gambling.

Just because it doesn't technically require real world money, doesn't mean it isn't gambling. Did you ever make a bet with a friend were the loser has to do something 's tupid, or when you were a kid make a bet with your siblings that the loser has to do the others chores. Both of those are examples of gambles that don't require money, and I'm sure there are plenty of others.

What's your point though? He's saying don't buy the crystals packs if you don't like gambling, wich is a great advice. You get exactly what you pay for because you pay with real money instead of with crystals.

I've been making small amounts of money via the Google rewards app... Have about 12$ of Google play credit sitting there.

I'll never use that credit to buy crystals on one of those 5-330 or whatever packs.

Only use the real cash if I know what I'm going to get.
