Game ideas

There should be an exhibition mode added to the game. You wouldn't get anything out of playing in it, but you wouldn't lose anything either. You can use any of the characters that you own and you can pick the teams that you face. It'd be a mode to just get some practice in or learn how to use a character or just mess around in.
  • Years ago, Star Wars Galaxies Test Center had a mode where you could create a character at any level, any profession, any skill set, with any gear, literally if you wanted to try something, it was an option. The down side was your character would be deleted with every server restart.

It'd be nice to have something like this in SWGOH to help learn different synergies and abilities and figure out which direction we want to take our characters.

    • I could see this as a possibility in the future, I'd say to simply call it 'Training or Simulation mode'. I'd then say to make it so that guild members can actually fight each other's squads without any limitation to how many times permitted in a day, other than the usual arena time limit, both squads and ships. This would create a way for people to really learn there squads strengths, and work on their weaknesses for future attempts at successfully creating a well prepared squad for the fights that matter.
    • Another Idea would be to create more aesthetic features. Now I feel many would probably either not care or feel this is something that's a waste of a patch. But create a way to customize our characters look to a certain extent. take lightsaber color for example. allow sith to change from red sabers to green/blue or even other color/pigments like white. even minuscule changes to outfit colors. I feel this sort of feature should only come if the game starts to see a decline in popularity, as a means to keeping it alive with interesting ideas. almost another MMO element to it.

my guess is they will never give you anything that doesn't cost anything... you would at least see it cost some kind of resource

I don't expect this to be feature, but it doesn't mean it could be far from a reality. The very fact that there would be no reward in simply training your squads in simulated battles isn't something I'd see affecting the status of the game. Why would they make training cost resource if there isn't anything to gain, simply doesn't make sense.
