"We will be adding important Gear to hard nodes to allow you to get some Gear while farming character shards"
I believe this is referring to doubling the gear drop rate on hard nodes which is already done

Wondering the same. If they said anywhere, anytime that this is the case, we should confirm it with some numbers on our side. If all is a-ok, it's certainly more profitable to prioritise hard nodes even for finished characters.

I guess you get a little extra SSC this way, but not sure it's worth it to me to go find a second node for 5 sims.
