Well, I didn't like TFA, but I liked TLJ. I guess I'm kinda weird amongst SW fans.

I understand you! ;) I liked TLJ at least a little more than TFA, exactly because it was at least controversial and left you with some food for thought; re-canonized some Force abilities from the EU and such. It wasn't made to be liked by "everybody" and took some risks, which I can respect much more than just recycling OT stuff and hope it will catch the mainstream masses.

I can sympathise the enjoyment of there not being any stolen plot from the OT but you can't use that to say a movie is good just because it didn't make the same mistakes as the other one (TFA) it kind of should be compared to its universe as a whole and it's still a broken mess with really really mindless and thick moments from people who are supposed to be smart enough to find the resistance (which wasn't found by the first order yet) and smart enough to stay alive in this newest universe... in short I feel like a kid wrote the movie and yes I know who wrote it but there was no qualities of brilliance that made sense in the movie for me. There was little imagination in fact so saying written by a kid is an insult to kids lol.

Rukh would be awesome. Also would be cool to have Agent Kallus both Empire and rebellion version, the inquisitors, the tie defender and the imperial ace pilot for it, to name a few.

Also if we could just get a Noghri (the race that Rukh comes from for the uninitiated) faction that would be sweet.

I only said that I liked ep.8 "a little more" than ep.7. I never really called it "good", only better in direct comparison. ;)
