the small inconvenience pales in comparrison with trying to get from #14 to #9 for example though.
I also doubt it's actually that much harder to find a suitable match. The left panel remains unused pre- and post-rework and i wonder how often players actually used the mid panel pre-rework. You're far more likely to jump further now than you were jumping pre-rework even if it's only because you now know how much the max jump actually is, wich coincedentilly might also be the reason why people are refreshing more currently.
I'm not low ranked enough in fleet to test it out fully, but around #100 it's super easy to get 1 rank lower than max jump, within 20 refreshes easy, wich is probably less than when i was trying to find the max jump wich i assume is unknown for that region(?).
human perception is a tricky sob.
