If that's the case our best assumption would to follow the modified fleet energy drops since regen rate and refresh cost are the same.
I can't see them giving us an 80% drop rate for these tickets. I guess we can thank all the people who shared screen shots of insane energy numbers (here's looking at ahnald) -_-
I can't imagine there being a good reason as to why they're deliberately trying to slow down the rate at which we unlock GLs. It's not like every player had both Rey and Kylo already.
Do you even understand what you're complaining about? First off, this has nothing to do with how fast you unlock a GL - only their ultimate ability. They're unlocked at 7* as soon as you complete their event (tickets have nothing to do with that).
Secondly, the drop rate of the tickets will likely be based on the 6 energy nodes and will scale by amount of energy (so 12 energy nodes will have a drop rate twice as high as the 6) - allowing players to, in effect, farm tickets from whichever nodes they want (i.e. continue farming whatever gear /characters they wanted at whatever energy level).
TL;DR - this is a good thing.
Either your memory is going, or you don’t have a GL.
You need tickets to play tier 1-3, which is how you obtain the shards to unlock.
My memory is going. Lol. But regardless - it's still a good thing. The new system allows players to continue to farm gear they need as well as tickets, without reducing the ticket farming rate.
I'm sure its a good thing for CG. Stretch out the time it takes to get the new GLs into service with all abilities and then sit back on their hinders taking another vacation while we sit with no new fun playable content for the 3rd year.....
