Have to learn the inquistors tactics then isn’t so bad.
Unfortunately not true. The event is designed to minimize you ability to use the standard Inquisitors' tactics. For instance you might want to apply Armor Shred to Ahsoka or Grand Inquisitor or Kanan or General Kenobi, but you can only do this with 5 stacks of Purge on your target...yet each of these targets cleanses whenever they like. You can't pay attention to cooldowns and go for Armor Shred when their abilities are on cooldown, because they're never on cooldown. You can't daze the enemy while 8th Brother's TM is low so you have a chance to pile on Purge stacks... because the enemies ignore Daze (and the event details don't tell you this).
Now, knowing the kits certainly gives you a better chance than not knowing the kits, but learning "the inquisitors' tactics" doesn't help: those tactics just don't work. They're designed not to work.
And don't think I'm complaining: I like thinking creatively. I didn't watch a guide for this event because I wanted to play it through on my own. I'm okay with the normal tactics not working and having to think for yourself.
I'm only disagreeing with you here because telling people to use standard inquisitors' tactics is actually bad advice and I don't want anyone reading the forum to get bad advice here.
So yeah: know the inquisitors' kits, but think creatively, people.
