Great mothers buff coming?

With the buffs ezra is getting for going under glat will we see doom work 100% as it reads. because as it currently sits glat can just keep  counter attacking and keeps obnus protection which is protection. so which is it suppose to be it disables all protection or will it be updated to read how it works in pratice?
