KnightofRen - As we speak, my lawyers are looking into the games TOS. They have been fully brief on what has happened, they will advice me soon and if this issue is not rectified correctly and fairly, I will have to think what to do next
McDonald's have been sued, for less, case in point, not displaying on their coffee cup that the coffee is hot, a customer burnt herself and initiated legal action. You wouldve thought this is common sense that hot coffee would be hot, but common sense did not suffice for the courts, the plaintiff won and McDonald's have to pay the settlement and all future coffee cups have a warning that hot coffee is hot(no s***!)
This is not a threat however I pay to play, and I am only seeking what is fair. I hope the message gets through loud and clear.
*edited: toned down on the harshness considering that the developers are working on it... How ever keeping it serious enough to ensure that the rewards properly compensate the mistakes by the developer "MarmotaMonax;507913" wrote:

I'm thinking that players in the same time zone of the original guild leader are getting their coins correctly. So players that have all the members on the same time zone will get all of their coins. And guilds like ours, where most of our players are on a different time zone than the original guild leader, are getting nearly no coins whatsoever.
This means that a lot of guilds may not notice there is an issue, because they are only losing out on a small amount of coins every day. But guild like mine, noticed it right after the guild hopping patch was released.
If this is true, then all guilds are technically affected by the bug, just in different degrees.
I already posted it before, but this is not the reason. Our guild, as well as the huge majority of our guild members, are Germans and Germany is not so big anymore that we have different timezones :P Still we suffer heavily from this bug or whatsoever
Being from the other side of the pond, I see nothing but Germany from Spain to Russia.... Except Britain, they left.
Just having fun.- This is serious. We need some thing done about this asap

With so many reports an official answer is needed.
Definitely they need to post answer, give some explanation and solve issue.
But also what I wonder how will they make it up to guilds and it's members for not beeing able to compete with others for several days.
It's a disgrace how they handled this issue. They could isolate and find exact number of exploiters but have hard time with this problem. I would more say that they dedicated exaclty 5 min of their time to this problem.- JesseAndersonEA10 years ago

Hey Everyone,
Our QA team has been looking into this and has been working directly with our server engineers to figure out what might be going on here. It looks like some guilds just had a day or 2 where this messed up after we made changes to the Guild Bank Currency cap, but others are still having issues.
Also, please note the following: Guild Bank Coins (the diamond slab icon with a coin on it) are tied to the schedule of the guild activities. 6:30pm at the Guild Leader’s time is when they reset and are delivered. This reset time never changes even if the Guild Leader does, its permanently set when the Guild is created.
Now, after reading through these comments it appears that some Guilds are still having issues days later, and that is what we're investigating. To help out our server engineers and so that they can more closely look at your Guild, what I could use from you is your Guild name and the name of at least one player that isn't having their contributions counted. With this, we can look exactly where the problems are being reported.
We'll continue working on this more today and with the information you all supply hopefully we can find out exactly what's going on.
Thanks. "EA_Jesse;509042" wrote:

Thank you for looking into this.

EDIT:

I have tracked my guild coin contribution in May and then again this week after the update. We all contributed 600/600 for a 50 member guild. I compared the two to see where coins are being lost and they are almost entirely around my guild leaders reset.
Guild name: Order 66 501st. We have 8 members that log in around 1am CDT that are not getting their coins counted.
On the first day we received 25,800 and the second day we received 30,000. What is happening to my guild is we actually got 33,600 on day 0 but the game limited us to 30,000. We got to 33,600 because 6 people in different timezones than the leader sent 600 coins twice within the leaders 24 hour window. These people now did not have 600 coins to give on day 1 (since they gave twice to day 0) so we received 25,800. Day 2 we received the max 30,000 but by tomorrow we will find out how much of that was wasted on going over 30k. Odds are day four we will get between 25k and 28k.
So every two days we are losing around 4k coins.
Our guild break down by timezone is:
Guild members Time Zone Total members
UTC-8 Pacific 7
UTC+8 Hong Kong 2
UTC+3 Moscow 1
UTC+2 Eastern Europe 5
UTC+1 CET 4
UTC+0 GMT 1
UTC-3 Brazil 3
UTC-4 Atlantic 1
UTC-5 Eastern 18
UTC-6 Central 8
UTC-7 Mountain 0 - I just realised that if EA decided to 'manually' transfer the lost GBC (30,000) to the affected guilds, the GBC cannot be credited if those guilds have already earned their 30,000 GBC since a guild may only earn 30,000 GBC a day... We are doomed!
