Guild messages
Our guild has a few problems with newer players who either can't see the banner at the top of the chat or don't know about the chat function. Please can guild leaders and officers send guild messages to players' inboxes. Thank you.

- And generally this allows for communication that everyone will see, more so than the in game chat, which a lot of guilds have abandoned for Discord.

Are you sure they are not minor accounts? Minor accounts don't see guild chat, banner texts or direct messages in-game.
My guild leader only allows in people who have non-minor accounts. (S)he invites people (s)he knows through some form (either real life / other games / this game). Those who might be from other games may not completely know this game.

Well idk- The chat shows at the bottom of the screen, unless these are day 1 players they have looked at the chat, might not know to check it, but have definitely seen it.
- Maybe they don't look at it, but I find scrolling through the chat can be annoying. Also, the gold banner can only fit so much, not everything. Additionally, chat messages disappear, so you have to keep retyping them.
Finally, how about a 'Guild Entry' message in the inbox instead.
Everyone currently in the guild will be messaged via inbox after a change in message.
Message can only be changed once every 2 months.
On entry, you receive the message in your inbox.
This is for guild members only, hence not in the guild requirments box under the search page.
