- GW is stupidly hard now and not fun at all. Completion rate of at least 30% is reasonable to expect but it's dropped we'll below that, absurd that the only way to win is by spending money. Mods should reset difficulty level, one squad wiping out 60 characters is needlessly frustrating
- HokieChuck8888 years agoNew RookieIt has nothing to do with not being able to complete it. It can be completed. It's the amount of time sink involved. Most people are going to have a really really strong team or few teams after playing the game for a while and being somewhat "end game". In order to comfortably complete GW at whatever GW classification I am in I have to pump TM, not get hit and keep every CD available through node 6. Then I have to minimize taking hits and keep all CD's available through 7-12. That takes a lot of time. Then it takes forever resetting nodes 7-12 or 7-11 depending on what days I have a broken node 12... which causes more time sink because I have to assume a non-broken node 12.
When you get things like Chaze, Zaul, GK, Zihilus, Zylo, Zavage, Rex leads, you name the meta or meta-competitive team in virtually any node past node 2 it makes it extremely difficult. I get Wiggs teams on node 1 lol.
There are only a handful of toons that can take out some of these arena-competitive squads. If those toons aren't g10 at the least w/good mods they may as well not exist. This means most people's good squads are prot stripped...maybe even have to sacrifice a top toon.. by the last nodes. You simply have to use your good toons earlier than the last nodes now and that maxed Zaul/Assassin/Zavage/Zihilus squad on node 6 is going to make sure you are prot stripped.
I understand that the answer is to keep upgrading but it's simply not that easy for F2P/minnows. The stun cuff/gun raid drop % is a joke considering how many toons (and consequential toons) need them. When you get to a point you've got an arena team in the 20-50 range and you are somewhat end game, GW is just a time sink nightmare. Not what I would call fun anymore. "HokieFiend;c-1168225" wrote:

It's a joke for it to be claimed that GW hasn't changed. What was an extreme pain to ensure completion every day has only become worse. It 100% got worse since the updates started rolling out.
My time spent playing the game correlates a lot to completing GW. When people start leaving maybe they will listen.
I brought this issue up a couple of times. Even people leaving. And the staff (not just devs... I got friends that are devs... not here.), are covering things up. Actually I take that back. One dev said they are working on something that may or may not be implemented. I thought they did it but I was wrong. I'd mention the thread but it got deleted by a volunteer. His excuses were justified but truth is it got a bunch of views and I had no intention of stopping till someone mentioned they were fixing it.
Also the regs trolling weren't helping either. People continually complain about gw being hard. But no one can wrap their head around being difficult and being excessive/impossible. Because I don't have that many posts and I look new her so I must be a noob.
It's obvious they're willing to put more effort in covering up the people complaining than to actually fix the issue. So whatever money I spent on this I stopped. Well put but there's been complaints from ptp players too. Honestly gw, dealing with ea support and this forum pretty much killed any fun I had with this game. So I'm going to return the favor. And no I'm not going to quit quietly. I'm getting teams completely meta and multi zeta out on lvl 85, 11 gear 7* etc etc. I don't even bother with it. This has been going on for weeks and months etc. And these are teams I clearly have no business fighting. Because the person who has these have been here far longer than I have etc etc. And the drops are a joke as well."chewky100;c-1168522" wrote:

I'm pretty sure someone will come in here and lie/brag, but it is doable ftp. But yeah paying would kind of make your life easier. And when I mean paying I mean like the bigger packages. $10 and $20 won't cut it. I'll tell you straight up. I've put in on some gym and what're packages ($20 and lower) and still gotten the shaft on some things.
I can't believe you went through that. I believe it happening, especially with a zylo. Yeah they really need to fix it.- Every time I mention how my guild handles GW, a mod deletes the post/discussion.
- I think GW needs a complete overall, though I admit I don't have a perfect solution. If you want a challenge, play in the arena.

I think one thing they could do to help immensely here would be to have buff immunity/shock etc. apply on Zaul lead teams before stealth fires off of a critical hit. This doesn't seem to be WAI or right in any way to me. You have something that is a helpful counter to this squad and it can't even be applied until it's simply too late.
I saw a post recently that the devs had this on their radar and were looking into it but I'm not sure if there was ever an outcome from it.
Additionally, I believe when I've had a shocked Sith stunned with Palp and Savage picks up that stun, it only lasts for one turn when it should last for two. I could be wrong on this as I haven't paid attention to it since I thought I saw it happen the first time. Scenario would be shocked Sith stunned by Palp and picked up by Savage before the end of the stunned Sith's turn after stun. Can anyone confirm? "HokieFiend;c-1171062" wrote:

I think that was on the thread that I made. That got a ton of attention. And got conveniently deleted. I got a "warning" for defending myself against trolls and the brute force tactics I used weren't appreciated by staff. Even though staff told me to post in here and get attention. And me being nice clearly didn't work the first time.
Anyways, They did say it was on their radar but didn't say if they were going to handle it "may or may not..." was the gist of it. Yeah I notice a bunch of stuff conveniently doesn't work at times. But then again it depends on who your playing."CaptainRex;c-1170394" wrote:
