- Same our GP is at 86 mil theirs 112mil. Not sure about how that is considered matchmaking.
- But have all of their players signed up for the TW?
Say your guild has 86mil GP and you have 50/50 entered, that means you have 100% of your GP available.
What if out of the opponents guild, only 42/50 have entered thus lowering their actual available GP to roughly the same as yours? Is that not then a fair matchup? - Was just going to ask the same. Is it 50v50 or 25v25 because someone on the other side did not confirm. If it is the later it works to your guild advantage in offense

What I'm saying, is that I would hope that the TW matchmaking system is based on active confirmed GP at the time of the end of the preview phase, not on number of players or total guild GP.
I don't think TW matchmaking is based on total guild GP, I think it does this:
1. During preview phase, players "sign up" for the TW.
2. At the end of the preview phase, your guild has a "signed up" GP total.
3. You are then matched up with a guild that has a similar amount of "signed up" GP total.
This would be the most logical. So yes maybe you are matched with a guild with 30mil more GP - but in reality, they have 30mil GP worth of players that didn't sign up for the TW so your both fighting with 80mil GP for the war.- ^^That would make sense^^
I hope OP isn't getting these numbers from swgoh.gg alone because they are only as accurate as the members that have signed up there. - In my experience, the guild matchmaking has been rather lopsided

I'm pretty sure that is the case. Our gp listed in tw was the gp of those signed up and less than our total."TurgonGW;c-1371890" wrote:

Yep, that appears to be the case, as it should be. If the OP's guild is going up against a guild with much higher overall GP, it's because less of that guild's member signed up.
