I know challenge rewards have been updated but anyone know if the GW rewards have been updated yet?

Nope no idea haven't run GW yet today.

Why are people doing 36 GW battles? Are there so many in your guild that doesn't do 12, that you need to, so you get the highest tier rewards?

I so enjoy gw and I want to know about the rewards too, but my guild refresh is an hour from now and I won't refresh it until I'm sure it's been updated

You do Monday's GW after your guild reset time on Tuesday, then restart, and either do Tuesday's then or do it on Wednesday, along with Wednesday's. As for why, probably because you want to get more guild coins by placing first.

I would really like to know the answer to the OP.

In most other updates, players have had to restart their GW in order to see any changes made to it. Chances are, that isn't going to happen for most people until after daily reset tonight.
