EA Help is an oxymoron.

I lost access to my main account, it got linked to a different one, no idea how. I asked EA Help if they could reconnect my old account to my old EA account ID. They asked for details of my accounts. So sent them EA account IDs, Player IDs, email addresses, ally codes and full screenshots of proof of purchase. They said they could reconnect me.

Then the chat began to go in circles. They'd refer me to help articles, I'd say I had tried everything, then they'd ask for all the details again, I send them the details.....

Then after a month they say my account had been deleted "as I had requested". I told them I had not requested them to delete the account and asked to make a complaint. Now I can't access EA Help via the game.

WTF!!!! What a useless company.

  • Finally, got my account back. A member of the lead team eventually got my case and sorted it within hours.

    The problem is the first point of contact team. The bot chat was better. The communication was awful, They told me they'd deleted my account and it was irretrievable. Yet, Hans from the lead team retrieved it and reconnected it to my EA account in hours. Also, said I had asked them to delete it, but never did. If I wasn't a persistent **bleep** I probably would have given up and lost the progress and money invested in the game.

    If EA read this, hire more people like Hans! Give Hans a raise while your are at it.

  • They aren't paid for helping you, they're paid to respond to you and close tickets.

    You have my deepest sympathy. I have been through the hell known as "EA Help" myself.

    Luckily, I discovered the the "Bug Reports" section of this forum, before it was too late.

    About the "EA Help", unfortunately it will continue to be this way until EA will be faced with a myriad of lawsuits because of their support not actually supporting.
