True, but if you got kanan/elder there you dont have to worry as they can dispel it
I would say that kanan would be better than elder simply because when sthan loses his taunt the entire team gonna be in danger cuz of the cannon, although if jyn keeps her special to give sthan 100% tm and get that turn before the cannon fires may viable with any of both
