Jawas work by passively adding thermal detonators when they are attacked; they need to be attacked.  I think the pro build is to put speed on Scavenger and the one that adds crit chance up (Scavenger stealths when he crits).  However, I don't put any speed on mine, none at all.  It's a case of surviving as long as possible.

Jawas work like no other team.  Which means they can possibly do things no other team can do.  They haven't aged well, but there have been times when they can get  you out of a tight pinch.  I remember when Mara Jade was new.....they were good at winkling her out like a good winkle picker for your cockles!!

I always liken Jawas to putting $5 in your shoe before going out for the night in bandit town.  Worst comes to the worst you have that $5.  It might not be enough to get you home, but then again.........it might be.

TLDR:  Always carry $5 in your shoe
