LOL. They gave us an official statement a while back that said ally points will never be used for anything but Bronziums. And then tournaments happened. Official statements are subject to change at any time.

As much as I hate to say this....yes it came from an official source, it was not an official statement..... it sucks when the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing but, I don't trust anything until it's in game or in the released statements that get posted to the forums.

It was a pretty official statement. Tournaments were released with the intent on crystals being used for refreshes, and that's what the first one was. We all complained about that and it changed to Ally Points, it only changed because the community wanted something else.

Sorry but a comment on reddit is not official, the person who made it is official but that is a different thing...

No there was a line in one of the update posts on the forums that said Ally Points weren't going to be used for anything else.

I have never seen that, but I could be wrong. The only reference I have seen to any comment like this was to a post on reddit.

I was fairly sure it was in one, but then again I could easily be wrong.

After they made the change, an explanation (in game)that ally coins will be used for bronzium and tournaments was added....so unless they changed that I suspect they are coming back in some form.

Yeah I know, I'm just saying that they had said they weren't going to use them for anything because they really weren't planning on it, they were going to just use crystals for tournaments. But then the community complained so they used the only other thing that would actually make sense to use there which was Ally points. Now they're probably still up for use for tournaments and such, but we don't really know when/if tournaments are coming back or if anything else is going to use them for a while.
