How conquest could feel like less of a hassle

Just an idea I had while sitting around, what if conquest, instead of using teams you have yourself, had preset teams for battles so you wouldn’t have to rely on if you had some crazy relics? Hear me...

I don’t like this idea. For a start, POW’s Omi would be busted in GAC, and is partly dependent on his stamina levels so it wouldn’t transfer well.

Also, if we’re given preset teams you wouldn’t need to grind for rewards. Conquest’s whole deal is “improve your units, get better rewards”, as with every other aspect. Do not replace conquest with this.

Having said that, I like the idea of trying out teams you don’t have - I remember when I started out, there were events of how to use a KRU lead first order and Palp lead Empire as a “training event?” I would like it if other events of that kind, which is practically identical to your suggestion minus the whole “replace conquest” part, would be implemented.

I agree, I don’t think that overhauling conquest like that is a great idea. But I think at least a game mode where you can test out teams and Omicrons (that isn’t squad arena) against other teams of your choice would be really nice for the game. You can tweak mods, test counters and actually see Omicrons in action before GAC or whatever game mode comes around.

And yeah even testing teams you don’t have up and running yet would be nice so players could get a better idea on what they are spending resources on.
