How does defense stat work.
Let me start off by saying that I do know that defense increases a character's armor and resistance. What I'm wondering is if we know how that translates into what it does in battle.
Lets use Sith Trooper as an example since he's what made me think of this. With his unique at level 7 he gets 100% more defense. My ST is currently sitting at:
Armor: 29.44% (6.48% from mods)
Resistance: 22.59% (6.08% from mods)
Do we know how that bonus 100% scales? I wouldn't imagine that doubling the base armor number would also double the % it gives. As in I'm thinking there would be some kind of diminishing returns. Such as if you have 10% armor now then it takes 50 points to get another 10% but if you have 30% now then 50 points only gives you 5% or whatever like that, I'm just making up numbers there but the idea is what I'm getting at.
Or is this another one of the those "hidden" things that the devs just haven't told us?
