How fast should the Shard Shop exclusive unlock?

As the title reads. How fast do you feel the shard shop exclusive character should unlock at? Also, wanted people to be able to see how long, or at least, realize how long 7 stars could theoretically ...

I think the argument against 5 or fewer shards a day is that it gives no real incentive for p2p or anyone with excess shards to be happy.

I'm just curious as to what the community thinks is fair and what their wishes are.
