How important are pilot levels in ship battles?
I have the Jedi Consular at level 71. Should I spend the 3.6m credits to upgrade him to 85, purely for ship battles? Or is the difference to power so negligible that it's not worth it?

extremely extremely exteremely important. and it isn't just the level of the pilot. It is the gear level, the level of their mods and how many dots each mod has, and if you add any extra gear on them after they are at their max gear level.
