Hurricane Harvey Relief fundraiser for SWGOH players

A noble cause that more need to see.

Texan here, living in Houston. I can speak first hand at how bad everything is. My parents also live in a city called Beaumont and it flooded even worse, on an over all scale. Entire neighborhoods with water up to the roofs, running water and sewer systems down./nonfunctional.. this is definitely nice to see.

I showed it to my mom and she couldn't believe that people who play "silly games" could be so thoughtful. I told her it's cause star wars fans are special. :wink:

I hope everyone is OK. Where in Houston are you? I'm NW in Cypress. We got hit pretty bad, but if you need anything moved (I have a truck) or need any help with a drowned vehicle (I'm a mechanic) let me know

Good Cause OP...I live on the Louisiana coast so I know a thing or two about hurricane season. We got a lot of rain but nowhere near the amount Texas got. My Dads house flooded last year due to a freak rainstorm that unleashed over 2 feet of rain in some places. Again..that's nowhere near the amount that Texas got but I completely understand the pain and sadness that comes with water entering your house to the point you literally lose everything:(

Now there is another one..Hurricane Emma or Imma idk...but it's not gone northward like the weather channel said it was. It's possible it could enter the Gulf of Mexico. To me that's the worst thing about hurricane season..they often times have some that hit the coast back to back and that's the last thing Texas and all the nearby states need:(

If so I hope everyone on this game that lives along the Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida coasts takes care and be safe.

@JediMindTricks hey bud, florida here. I'm with ya. And everyone around here is stockpiling because of what happened in Texas. Irma's coming and hopefully she swings waaaay north. Doesn't look like that's happening. Everyone be safe.

I'm in the Inner Loop (Heights), and got extremely lucky. We got stranded in the neighborhood for a few days, with nothing open except for a single convenience store for any supplies, but my complex stayed dry inside. I have a guildmate in Baytown who is rebuilding his house currently. If I had a vehicle, I'd be going down to help him, or help out with any of the other relief efforts.

I'm out by Sugar Land, amd I'm mostly ok. Nothing I can't live and deal with. Had to do some minor car work, but my living space is safe. It's my parents having the most issues. But thank you for the offer. It's been really good to see everyone banding together to help one another. :smile:
