We're all good over here. Lost power for a little while (8:30 pm to 11:30 am today), but no damage. We dodged a tremendous bullet. It's hit as a Cat 2 instead of the monster that slammed into Marco Island south of us. But over night winds from 80-90 mph was scary. Especially since it was pitch black outside. We do not live in a flood zone, so no worry there. Thanks for keeping this thread open.

Glad to hear that @Carth_Onassi1973 ! Irma will hit me tonight as a tropical storm, so risk of tornados and power loss. All the gamers I know in Florida have checked in as fine (although lack of power and AC has been a problem). Hope everyone out there is staying safe! :)

@Sunnie1978 hang in there! If power loss is the only problem, you're looking real real good. What we did before we got hit was drop the AC down to 70 and when the power went out, we were comfortable until it came back on. We also froze bags of water in zip locks incase power was off for an extended time. A little more extreme on our end that you'll face (hopefully! I don't want it to be any worse!) but it was good that we did it.
Now I'm going to be busy all day tomorrow taking down wood planks, kissing each one and saying "thank you" as I do it. Good luck brother and best wishes to you and yours.
