I’m a bit confused on the executor prerequisites

All of the prerequisites are used for the tiers but the Dengar one is unnecessary. You don’t use his ship at all in any of the tiers and it’s just wasting materials for the executor unless you want D...

Prerequisites don't have a 1:1 representation in the battles. They're just a hurdle they want you to get over before unlock.

Besides, one of the things that keeps Executor relevant these days is Punishing One, so you definitely want Dengar geared up for that reason.

Just to re-emphasize crzydroid advice - If you are working towards Executor (and you really should), start working on getting Punishing One shards now. It really is a core ship to the fleet.
