I had to ask a strong member who was pulling that same thing. He played a couple days and quit on the tank Raid. I sit at 4.6M damage and him at 360 and yet he can kill phase 1 in the pit with 1 team like me. So I called him out and asked him to join in again. He did with no complaints and nearly doubled his score in 1 day. So even that make a huge difference.
Call them out on it. Maybe they think they are helping by letting you catch up, but in reality they are dragging it out and hurting all by not bringing in thosr rewards.
