Let me amplify what I'm saying here. Back when I first started playing this game in 2016, I noticed a pattern. When taking on certain events, you would get destroyed. Then you would slowly start to make progress, get closer to beating it. With a little luck, you'd finally beat whatever it was. And then it became easy. In short, the nature of SWGOH made the power curve very steep. You spent a lot of time on the Slopes of Utter Failure. But then you got to a fun place where you were close enough that strategy and modding could bring victory. Then it was over the summit into the Valley of "I Can Do This with My Eyes Closed".
GAC was fun because it was the apotheosis of this. In the last round of GAC before relic delta, I threw 13 teams at an LV before I managed to get him down, each either failing or chipping away until he was beaten. I lost the match but it was a fun match to lose. THIS is why I play the game.
What Relic Delta has done is make that curve into a vertical. Even small difference in power level mean huge differences in result. A tiny push takes you from "I can do this with the right mods" to "this is impossible no matter what I do". So if I throw 13 teams at an LV now, that will be 13 failures. Not 13 chipping aways. Not 13 building toward an eventual victory. 13 complete wastes of my time. And it's no fun on the other sides where I can just auto a lot of matches and not worry about strategy because they can't touch me.
This game had a balance. An uneasy balance, but a balance. That's now gone.
