Respectfully, I'm guessing the CG staff don't sit round the boardroom saying, "Hmmm, we can't do that...y'see Alliance Member has invested a lot into those ships!"
Don't take it personally - the game is dynamic and changes...sometimes those changes help you, other times they hinder you. And when they're hindering you, they'll be helping others...and when helping you, they'll be hindering others...
It's a game - play, develop, change, think, calculate, devise your way round problems. That's the point.
While i understand the dynamic and changes, these updates should be carefully thought and done smart, not at the expense of players progress and their invested time and effort!
