This has been explained several times but every now and then someone starts a new thread with the same question. Because they missed the packs. It’s unlikely CG will reveal their marketing strategy to customers. But this is usual practice in games. The FOMO drives a large sales peak very common for Gatcha games. In a real world context ‘you’ missed the flash sale. So just be ready for the next one or if they do decide to cycle them back around. But it makes no sense for them to make them permanent at least within the first year as it would reduce the rush for the next one (where much more than the stragglers spend money). For instance I still have not activated Rey but got the pack when it first launched. If it were permanently available I would have waited until I had the time to finish the pack off. I only picked up the Ewok pack ‘incase’ it is useful in the future. So FOMO causes you to purchase packs you are not even sure you need because of their value. If put into permanent availability we could ignore them until they may be useful and revenue would decrease on there initial release.
