Inquisitor Assault battles

Ahh yea the super inclusive and not at all exclusive AB that everyone can get their teeth sunk into. with a backup team on standby to use if the primary team isn't ready for the attacks.

Isn't the same thing true for ALL the other assault battles if you don't have the relevant faction/factions geared?

Tier 1 can easily be done with marquee level inqs and rewards a nice chunk of SSC for almost no effort?

So you can only use one faction - if they added Jawas or tuskens to the list would it really be any better?

Gating content behind a faction isn't new or different from all the other ABs, or most of the PVE content in the game. Would anyone actually put gear on ewoks if it wasn't required for 3P0? And phoenix for Thrawn?

They gave plenty of notice - something they haven't always done in the past. What's with all the salt? Ultra was stating a fact - your final comment was a bit unnecessary.

It's not so much that you need to have the relevant characters geared, its the fact they've made this one entirely based on 1 set of characters so you HAVE to gear these ones up if you want to participate in it. The point i was making is that all the other AB's have 2 factions to at least give you a choice if you want to go for a set faction. Hell i would be understanding if they made the second faction for this one Mandalorians. at least i could understand that one, as its also one of the newest factions to the game

I get that, but like I said, marquee level characters can complete the first tier. That's not even the point. We've been asking for new content. Then they give it to us and people complain because they can't do it because they don't like the faction.

Not only that but Meathead told us way in advance that it was coming. Inquisitors have all been made farmable now and 5th is even on a 10 energy cantina node - one of the the fastest possible farming locations.

If you don't want inquisitors, that's fine, but faction gates and gear checks have always been a thing in this game - this isn't news. It's like being mad about the weather even though it's extremely predictable. We knew the rain was coming, we were told the rain was coming, we were told how to get out of the rain, but choose to do nothing and then get mad when it starts raining.

I do remember the mandalorians, and my point still stands, because I don’t recall that faction getting this much push.

It's an extra assault battle that's mostly rewarding people who invested money for the first few runs.
There's no problem here, move along. I'm actually upset that they didn't do the same thing for every new faction that was brought in the game.

I had four of the five at R5 and ninth at R7 and was able to finish tier 2. It takes a bit, but it was manageable and got it 3-starred. Tier 3 was a bit too much, but I'm guessing with GI it will be doable.

Still, i take it. I just wish more factions would have their ‘thing’, like AB, smuggler’s run, galactic bounties, endor escalation.. there are already quite a few, but more would be appreciated. A ‘battle for Mandalore’ for mandalorians with a boss fight against Maul would be awesome and use his leadership fully, but i’m babbling.

I will say the assault battles weren’t super difficult if you had them r5, but with the time it took to get to challenge tier 2, I didn’t bother attempting challenge tier 3.

This squad they created has to be among the least fun characters to play in the game. They don’t work well together and honestly as it stands right now they are a garbage faction. Could GI change that? Sure, but forcing players to use these awful group repeatedly is beyond frustrating.

Like seriously just stop with the inquisitor factor events until you make them not suck, please and thank you.
