Is a 3* shoretrooper worth the effort?

I usually finish 2-10 in the arena depending on how much time I have. The only teams that give me trouble right now are Chaze and a very good Darth Maul Zeta lead. There is no guarantee shoretrooper...

Agree he's viable if you gear high and can add tons of protection with OP mods.

If you have mediocre mods don't bother or if it's going to take a month to G11 him.

A toon is only half of it, without the right top mods every toon is worthless.

Also keep in mind, he may be viable for a bit but could quickly change. I know a F2P guy on my shard that bought ST to 4* g10-11 and did very well for a while but now he's struggling to stay top 10. He's on the same payout as me and all I did was change my mods to make them faster than him and swapped 1 toon. Now he can't beat me just like before he paid for ST.
