I think the piece your missing is TW focused guilds where TW is mandatory vs. TW casual guilds where joining is optional. My guild is a larger one and TW is optional so 35/50 join pretty consistently because those are the ones that have the availability to join. While we do have a set # of attacks requirement, we don't have to join. So its not that we bulky smaller guilds, its that TW is in need of a massive rework. That and our GL is a tactical genius.

This is the perspective these threads always miss, my guild is over 500M and also has optional sign ups. We get matched against tough guilds so they also have criteria for sign ups. Minimum banner for defence and offense. Basically sign up only if you intend to show up. And these days there is a requirement for a datacron for all teams on defense because of what our opponents are like. Yet we still do not win all match ups with a sign up of 35-40 fairly typical for us.
