Is Coliseum a scam?

The whole Era system is of course monetized.  It’s a total scam, per se.  it’s only purpose is to reward heavy spending.  If you spent $1300-$1500 per era, roughly 3 months, your reap major rewards from the game.  If you don’t spend you get less.  CG deliberately has gone silent to drive FOMO and confusion amongst those who don’t get their information here, Reddit or discord.  Last era they racked in cash because no one knew how the system works.  They’re still raking in cash, but not as much if public sources are to be believed.  I’m having a similar issue.  I’m era level 55 and can’t move up.  It’s all gated content designed to frustrate players into believing if the spend a little here and there they will succeed only to hit another wall at the next tier.
