Is Coliseum a scam?

Something nefarious seems to be going on with Coliseum. I think if you spend some money but not enough money CG won’t let you get past tier 5 unless you spend more money. My toons are all 7 star ...

I am a not an endgame player ( i cant claim that title unless i have spent 1500 bucks for Cassian I've got some at 6-7 using earned crystals) but i dont need any of these tokens. R10 I maybe need a couple of chars but then these tokens are meh. ( I have ~ 60K) Cleverly designed IMHO as if you are a new player you can spend and then just buy tokens to upgrade all the legacy stuff so you can get the latest chars and upgrade the roster. I think that's who it is geared for "new" whales the 1% whom they make 95% of the profit. It like a casino they want grow whales. The regulars are like economy on an airline the large profit comes from first/businesses class. As in all game modes play what you want to play and how much ie i hate raid with a passion so that's just any tier i can auto
