Is Raiders of the Outer Rim correct for Tier I

Question

The Details list Reccommended Level 20+ and that you have three units at Gear Tier V for the best chance of success. I was hoping to use this to get more shards of Silvo to claim more of the Character Quests I have unlocked for him. I only have 62/330 shards.

The first enemy you face is L85 and he single-handedly wrecks my 5-man squad that are all L50 and G5.

I could understand if the higher tiers required more powerful characters, but it seems like the first tier should at least be doable with low-level characters. As it is, I don't want to dump a bunch of training and stuff into this team since I don't think I will use them beyond this phase.

I just started a few weeks ago, so I'm not sure if this is standard or not.

I would take the recommended level / gear information with a pinch of salt on all events. I don’t think the developers are testing these events properly and they haven’t done for some time. I don’t have any characters below g12 to see what I can accomplish, sorry.&nbsp;

Thanks. Yes, it seems like a chicken and egg problem. You need high-level characters to beat these events, which grant shards to increase the levels of those characters.&nbsp;

Tier one can be beat with Captain Ithano and Brutus at level 80 and the others at 50-80 with ability 6-7, 5* mods. &nbsp;tier two and theee require toons at 85, some omegas, decent level 5* mods&nbsp;

If you just started, you really don't need to worry about these events. Don't derail your gearing plans for this. Keep in mind that every character becomes farmable on a node within a few months of release. After 1 year, they will be "accelerated," and drop 2 shards on every farming hit.

The recommendations have always been kind of weird, and honestly I never really look at them. But also keep in mind that gear V L50 is very different than G5 L85. You may also not have all abilities upgraded. Additionally, mods matter. A lot. If you just started a few weeks ago, you probably don't have that many good mods yet.
