Is the game broken finally?

Between conquest, the proving grounds changes, the last GC and the current one is it even worth playing the game anymore?
Instead of introducing new content, just make the current stuff infinitely harder? This is utterly ridiculous. In the GC my r7 decent mods Darth Vader just got instakilled by BAM with his basic....
  • This GC isn't particularly difficult. I got the gold box without problems. Last conquest I got the red box with 3 days left on the clock. OP, play smarter, whine less.

Guys...very simple concept if you are F2P. If you no longer like the game...just dont play it.

So the spenders should keep playing even if they don't like it?

No. However, you could understand that it's harder to avoid the Sunk cost fallacy if you invested money on top of time.

I would assume that, if you are spending on a game, you enjoy said game....

You assume anyone who ever spent on the game will find it enjoyable forever? Or are you assuming everyone is f2p all the time except for the very instant they make a transaction?

"Spender" is present tense. It means "currently spending".

    and playing because of it,
So spender is not the alternative term to f2p? Enlighten me, what is the term to use then?

FTP or F2P = Never spent money on the game, once you spend you can no longer be F2P

Spender = Currently spend on the game

If someone stops spending on the game then they "used to be a spender" but currently are not. In the context of the conversation, if someone is a spender (currently spends), then I would assume they enjoy the game. If someone used to be a spender but stopped enjoying the game and stopped spending because of lack of enjoyment, that doesn't make them now F2P....

You didn't really read the original post, did you?

It only breaks when they add something new. I have hope though, that some day they'll release a new character, event, update, etc., and it won't break the game somehow. Some day...

Today's went ok (so far). Wasn't broke, they just didn't think about timing of the event.

As someone explained above...people who spend money on something (not only games) then become more attached to that "thing" and find it harder to dispose of it...in the case of swgoh i assume players that spent money will keep playing even if they no longer like it due to the "i spent money so i must use it".
My point was more to the contrary...if you spend nothing, then there is no reason to play something you dont like...
I dont think paying customers deserve anything less than free players...in fact, they deserve more as they pay the costs that allow game to be free for others. I was a paying customer on other games (but not swgoh)...so what i say above applies to me...
