It's time to balance Baze/Chirrut

Chirrut jeals more than every healer in the game, despite being an attacker.

Chirrut hits harder than most attackers.

Chirrut's base stats are all top or near the top of the attacker class.

Baze base stats are all top or near top for a tank.

Baze's numerous abilities, starting taunt, aoe dispel, counters, even more self healing from his ambiguously gay partner, are all awesome abilities that should not exist together on one toon in a game. At least not any game that wants to at least pretend it gives a damn about balance.

You can objectively compare every detail of chirrut to every other attacker and healer and see there is no sane reason to consider any of the others if chirrut is available to you. This is simply a numbers comparison. Same comparimg Baze to any other tank. Aside from a few synergy forced decisions, there is no reason to choose any tank over baze. Again, this is numbers, not feelz.

There simply is no way these two aren't OP individually, let alome when the multiple synergies kick in. Anything less is an intellectually diahonest assessment of their capabilities.

Another thread where people don't understand that because a team or pair of toons are beatable or have counters don't mean they are balanced.

The lack of comprehension here is astounding

Okay, first of all, maybe keep the gay panic jokes out of the forum buddy. It's not necessary and it's not funny.

Secondly, it's been pointed out over and over that base stats are irrelevant, it's the abilities and overall kit that determines how hard someone hits, how much hp they have, etc. These add a multiple to the stats, effectively rendering base stats irrelevant.

So Chirrut's basic is now hitting for 20k. Good to know. Chirrut does not hit nearly as hard as you think he does because every single one I've fought and the one I use crits for a maximum of about 17k and that's when every ally has buffs. His basic is like Vaders except weaker.

False. His HoT's have the lowest value in the game and can be dispelled as well as heal blocked. Barris is a far better healer (and has an auto cleanse that can't be prevented even if she's stunned!)

Check .GG. Plenty of attackers that have higher phys. power or max damage. Cad Bane(!) does higher basic damage than Chirrut.

TFP is significantly faster, and his basic hits harder, and he's a direct counter to Chaze, imagine that.

If all this were true the meta report would reflect it. But it doesn't. These two are highly utilized, but their numbers are nearly identical, which indicates they're almost never used separately (if chirrut is the best healer and the best attacker why is he only used in conjunction with Baze? He should see usage otherwisee if you were correct). Additionally Nihilus is used nearly twice as frequently, and the General and Rex are both used more than these two as well...

Looking in a mirror buddy? They are balanced when you take into consideration that plethora of other toons that can counter everything that Chaze brings to the table. You only need Boba Fett in order to beat them realistically

Second, lets ignore stats, and focus on kit. Is there any reason to choose any healer aside from mayne zeta barris instaed of chirrut the attacker? No? Because you will get more healing, damage, and other awesome abilities out of chirrut.

Is there any reason to use any other tank than Baze? Sure, in a sith team or empire team, Sith or Shore trooper make a bit more sense, but just a tiny bit. In any other team composition, there is no reason to choose another tank unless you are adding a aecond tank to baze.

THAT makes them OP. If you have them, and there is no sane reason to consider using their alternatives, even if you don't need a healer, attacker, or a tank, that is just plain messed up.

Somebody is looking at a ban hammer if he keeps it up with the anti gay jokes. You have zero evidence to support any of your ludicrous claims and you are showing how mad this is making you like a child. Grow up and learn to read facts instead of making a post about how you think a toon works in the game when we are all telling you how they actuall work in the game.

It's actually quite clearly a nerf thread because you are calling Chaze overpowered indicating that you believe they need to be nerfed. A balancing thread would involve how to make their kit more fair and have legitimate reason as to why they need balanacing in the first place.
