JE Droid Squad with Palp in 5th spot?

depends on the mods, droid teams are easy to beat though just like the rest of the teams.

Anyone running droids without a full droid team (other then JE) is not utilizing them correctly. But I'm sure it's an ok team, nothing special and nothing to work for. If your going to not have a droid as your 5th toon there are better substitutes then Palp.

We are discussing it in my guild, on paper it looks like it wrecks anything. Be interesting to see the squad in action and hear some thoughts about it from people playing it or against it.

I'd say it's more about the mods than the 5th party. If you want EP to stun all the time, he needs extra potency and speed, so he's pretty easy to kill and stun.

Lots of things look crazy on paper, it's true. There's a droid+JE team bouncing around my server, usually top 3 at payout, so he's able to kill anything with EP right now since like 5-8 of the top 10 are trying different comps with EP right now.

The game is getting waaaaay better in recent weeks; lots of variety coming into the top arena teams. This is very fun and bringing some much needed interest back into the game. It's not just 5 heroes now, it's like, 10-15 that are all decent.

Thinking "defensively" for your arena team may be a thing of the past.

I play droids. All day, every day. Rex already beats us cuz too much TM gain. And I know that my entire droid team would move before a hybrid droid team so there is that too.

However, I will play with it today. I am dubious to anything exciting happening though. I'll report back on my experience.

It won't play that way on defense. That's what makes Rex so rough. They will all aoe and feed all sorts of TM. And vs droid opponents, their JE droids will blow up my JE before recalibrate happens. Then slow droids are slow.
