Jedi Temple Guard (Grand Inquisitor)

Light Side, Attacker, Jedi, Jedi Vanguard


Basic: Elegant Cut

Deal Physical Damage two times to the target enemy and inflict defense down and daze for two turns. If this character has heal over time, attack again, dealing a third instance of damage and inflict speed down for two turns. If the target enemy was stunned, attack a third time and call a random jedi vanguard ally to assist, dealing 50% less damage.


Special 1: Is this the limit of your knowledge?

Deal Physical Damage to all enemies and inflict offense down, critical chance down, critical damage down, and speed down for 3 turns, which can’t be evaded or resisted. Call all Jedi Vanguard allies to assist, dealing 50% more damage. If there is a summoned Jedi Temple Guard present, all enemies take 2 instances of reduced massive damage, which can’t be evaded.

Special 2: I think not (OMICRON) (CD 4)

If the ally slot is available, summon a Jedi Temple Guard (based on this unit’s stats). All allies recover 5% health and protection for each stack of padawan lessons on them, gain defense penetration for 2 turns and 35% turn meter. 

While in Grand Arenas:

If a Jedi Temple Guard is already in the ally slot, inflict Captive on the target enemy until Captive is inflicted on another enemy.

Leadership: By the will of the Force (OMICRON)

All jedi vanguard allies gain +50% max health and max protection and +100% offense and defense. All jedi vanguard allies will critically hit if able. Whenever a jedi vanguard ally uses a special ability against a stunned enemy, call all allies to assist dealing 100% more damage. Whenever they use a basic ability, jedi vanguard supports and healers gain 15% max health (stacking) whenever they deal damage to an enemy. For every 15000 maximum health, Jedi vanguard allies gain 1 stack of padawan lessons, which can’t be prevented.

While in Grand Arenas:

All Jedi Vanguard allies gain 50% mastery and an additional 300% defense. Whenever an enemy takes a turn, a random ally gains offense up and takes a bonus turn. During this bonus turn, they can ignore taunt and stealth effects (This attack will not trigger subsequent bonus turns).

Unique: I will delay the enemy (OMICRON)

Whenever a Jedi Vanguard ally gains defense up, heal over time, or potency up, grant that buff to all allies for three turns, which can’t be copied, prevented, or dispelled . For each of these buffs, gain +33.3% counter chance, counter damage, and critical avoidance. While jedi vanguard allies have all of these buffs, they cannot be stunned, have their turn meter removed, or inflicted with fear.

While in Grand Arenas:

All Jedi Vanguard allies cannot be critically hit and take reduced damage from percent health effects. The first time each ally drops below 75% health, they take a bonus turn and gain frenzy for three turns, which can’t be prevented or dispelled.

Unique: By the right of the council

Whenever a Jedi Vanguard ally reaches 20 stacks of padawan lessons, Jedi Temple Guard (Grand Inquisitor) takes a bonus turn. During this turn, he may only use the granted ability, Knighthood, on that ally.

Granted: Knighthood

Remove all stacks of Padawan lessons from target ally and grant them Knight of the Order until the end of the battle

Knight of the Order: +100% offense and counter chance, abilities cannot be evaded.

  • The concept is good, but... What for? CG has already made many references to the Grand Inquisitor, for example, both can attack three times per turn with their main ability. Both have the same animation and icon of the first special ability, and both apply an ability lock for 1 turn. **bleep** IT, THE TEMPLE GUARD HAS AN ABILITY CALLED PATIENCE... IS A VIRTUE. I think there are enough references as it is. If you make even more references, then it will already be reskin, and not a separate character.

    I'm open to all possible characters in the game and I'm sure CG can find some way of Temple Guard (Grand Inquisitor) being unique in his abilities.
