JML + Bastilla lead + Wat = problem

Just saw Bulldogs video where JML with tank tech under Bastilla lead will recover his bonus protection every turn, making him practically unkillable. SEEP cant even kill him on offense, since his Link doesnt affect bonus protection, and I doubt even his ultimate will give him enough dmg to get through a tanky Luke (his undispellable shock wont help either since it only prevents health recovery). That means that SEEP cant beat the guy hes pretty much designed to counter, while Kylo can 1v5 SEEP.

Cant imagine this is an intended interaction, and really hope they intend to fix this.

    @scuba it appears to have been confirmed for not just malak but others as well and is being looked into.

    They needed the charge gain from Linked to get Palp to his ult. Also, Fracture will really cut down on the recovery.
    I don't think it's broken, but it's a powerful combo, to be sure.

    PS - Not saying those alone will solve the puzzle. Might need specific modding or something :shrug:"

    On a serious note, I know people give Kyno a lot of lip about moving/closing bugs or suspected bugs and to go report it on answer.ea, however that is where they will look at it, so if there is truely a bug should be submitted there and heck spam it if they are not responding to it.

    I agree with Doja it’s a powerful combo and it was built to showcase the interactions with different abilities. Using a variant of my original video I was able to get a what would amount to a 60 banner win (full health and protection) against SEE, but SEE was able to beat the new variant (leaving link up as Doja indicated in his post above). Han also stops Wat and the team is nowhere near as tanky. DR with Han and CLS were able to do it.

    I believe Luke’s ultimate charge still needs a redesign and it would be nice to see his taunt not fully locked behind his lead, but it’s funny to see JML being called the best GL in the game based on a few theory crafted videos and not the evidence as it stands. I would say the most important GL to get with what we know at current time is SLKR; SEE and JML are pretty equal in worth imo.

    It explained calculations and the way that Luke was taking damaged. Using that and the previous explanations on bonus protection and protection up, then you should have a good explanation why JML becomes extremely tanky. That's what I was referring to

    My main concern is that Wat’s tech is regenerating Bastila’s Prot Up, which I don’t see as WAI. Its supposed to heal Max Protection, which is different than Protection Up.

    I’ve never seen that before. Again, I don’t know if this is consistent with other Protection recoveries / Protection Ups, but to me the blue bar and the purple bar are supposed to be different things.

    Although I wonder if that means just not Isolating JML and letting Link stay on him will eventually let SEE drain all that Prot Up away. If it is counting this way, then that should work...


    It is a weird interaction.
    With protection up when protection is recovered based on a % of max protection it will be regular protection + how much bonus or protection up there is used as the base.
