Its not like the "Heroes" matter anymore. The only thing that matters is that you have the latest lvl 9 God-Tier datacron! Hooray, you opened your wallet and won!

Having 1 or 2 lvl 9 DCS? no, not whale. Having 30 lvl 9 DCs with every character specific version? Yes, Thar She Blows!!
I have exactly 30 lvl9 DCs. Don’t have any of the marquee exclusive ones, but I have just about everything else. Don’t spend a dime. DCs are about working hard for it in conquest and knowing how to manage the resources for them.
That being said, I do that because I have to. I hate them.
