Maul is a direct counter to K2SO. (Daze stops him from countering therefore no Taunts as well)
Considering everywhere is crawling with Zaul teams lately, unless you want to use him solely on Raids for some reason, I would say not worth it currently.

I think he's better with his partner Cassian. I've fought a full R1 team in GW12 last week and he was working well with the rest of R1 toons (Jyn, Chaze, Cassian, K2).

He's more or less like JE, taken alone he's not so good but along with good partners, he can be good.

Only real reason to have him will be Cassian's ship. Not sure he's worth getting from the Shard Shop just for that.

I 7* him for the fun of it and found he barely qualifies as cannon fodder.

Rumor has it he is good with a bunch of strong tenacity mods, but I haven't bothered to test that out yet.

And he wasn't easy to farm, it took me three weeks of getting every shard I could for conversion in the shop.

Strange thing is we don't see any Cassian team. Is Cassian also not so good? Or is it because he's rare?

iirc Cassian's tournament came after both Chirrut and Jyn's and people didn't have stacks of AP on reserve... and he wasn't quite as sought after as either though I personally really like the toon a lot.

I've rotated Cassian (4* g10) in to my Arena team recently for the occasional battle (a non-R1 squad, no K2) and if it weren't for the randomness of the debuffs he spreads around he might be an everyday fixture for me.

Our mega whale runs Jyn, Cassian, Chaze and Kylo. He's smart and got the mods but that team is easy to beat. Prob just runs it because he spent all that money.

I'd give you mine if I could. He is my zero damage toon for rancor. Lol

K2SO is good IMO.

Until zMaul made his appearance, K2SO got me an average #3 in my Dec '15 shard running zBoba(L) or 47(L) with JE, B2, ig-88 and K2SO :)

I still use K2SO in my zMaul squad at the moment. after you kill Maul and EP, K2SO starts taunting again. He is usually the one who gets killed by Nihilius, as planned.
