KAM Mission Omicron

I like the direction the game is going with omicron - definitely opens up a bunch of possibilities for under utilized teams.

Is there any chance for an omicron being placed on Shaak/501st or Bad Batch for the KAM mission?

The idea would be to make the KAM mission as consistent as the Wat mission. Less streaming and specific mod load outs and more accessible to a wider player base.

KAM is 2+ years old and it’s be a great way to start catching everyone up on their KAM farms.

I appreciate your time

Omicron should be available. As I have been playing for 5 1/2 years now, I have YET to come across a KAM in anyones roster. The mission may be beatable but c’mon.

I've been playing about that long and I routinely see them in the top 50 of SA. I agree, the mission is difficult if you don't have top tier mods and the voices of experience over your shoulder - an omicron would be welcome, imo. That said, KAM is not quite as rare as you may think, and more people are unlocking him all the time.
  • I would love to add a TB omicron to the Shaak/clones team!

I succeed at the KAM mission and would not be opposed to an omni for Shaak to make it a bit easier. It's two year old content at this point. If someone wants to lazy out on mods, and spend an omni, god bless them.

    This ?
I've personally beaten the mission almost every time, but it's not an easy mission, and some attempts were really close. A huge amount of the player base still struggles with it, and thousands of guilds still don't have him unlocked. I don't think an Omicron is NEEDED, but it's definitely something worth considering to make KAM more accessible for the masses. Especially since it's a pretty old character by now. After all, people will still be able to decide whether they want to apply the Omicron or not.

In terms of improvements to LSTB, I would much rather they added a button to 'apply all mod loadouts in this tab'. That way you still need good mods, and it takes time to create the loadouts, but after that point it's much faster to apply all the loadouts. Instead, you currently have to go individually to each character, and then do the same for every character that's missing a single mod after the TB is over, and then do this all over again the next month. Such a small update that would save so much time and go some way to making mods not the most boring part of the game.

Great idea. It would work even better with a 'Save all mods' button and a 'Restore all mods to last save' button. Everyone but HotSauce would be happy (the maker of HotUtils a lot of us uses to keep from going insane/ quitting the game because of mod management. Praise him and his team!).

  • What would it cost CG? Nothing. What would it cost everyone else? Nothing
CG could likely make it very quickly (that is the upside of not testing anything ever :D ) and it would directly or indirectly lead to a revenue. The players using the Omicron would likely save a bit on relic levels and stress - and get KAM down the line. The ones NOT using the Omicron would have 1 more than the ones using it - giving them a slight edge in other game modes.
    Who isn't benefiting? In my eyes it's a 3 x win.

If they gave shakti an omicron that would buff her and her team for light side TB as a whole it could be worth it for those without light side GLs. But an omi for only one mission seems expensive and unnecessary.

I would rather put an omi on Rex or Fives, maybe on Fives so you already start with the sacrifice boost bonus and can even get another one on top when Fives triggers. This way it boosts both GAS and Shaak lead and you can alternate between both leads - for example you can use GAS 501st for combat missions outside of the KAM day and use Shaak on Bad Batch if you don't have Omega geared up.
  • Shaak's Lead Omicron:
In Territory Battles - "Whenever shaak ti uses an ability(during their turn) reduce all clone allies cooldowns by 1"
    Do it CG please ?
