Kicking someone during "set defense" stage

I'm an officer in a guild, and one of our lower powered members set 29 defensive teams with very little thought as to synergy. Leaders with no leader ability, mixed teams that make no sense. If I kick him before battles begin, do his teams remain or will they disappear, allowing us to set more viable defensive teams?
  • That sounds horrible, because a half decent synergy team could take out his defensive squads. I'd rather have my guild put in a really good defensive team that requires the opposing guild to use stacked teams against, rather than cakewalk teams that can be dealt with easily.
  • My guild also won once simply because we set more defensive squads. So it could also benefit them if they weren't going to max all platoons with awesome teams. I think stacking a single back territory would be best in this situation (whichever one had the most room) while making sure to save one or two extra offensive teams. Then you just gotta hope you can run the table on the other guild while they won't be able to take down your single stacked back territory...
  • Having been through the same situation, the player that dumped bad teams into TW was kicked immediately after TW.

It wasn't an issue of a beginner's mistake, and it was not the first time they did that sort of thing. This was someone who was hurting the guild by ignoring posted instructions, not communicating, and not paying attention to what they deployed. We had lots of good defensive teams that could not be used as a result.
  • As you may have discovered by now...just because you put down a squad it doesn't mean that have to burn a squad. They can take a weak squad with 1 strong toon.
  • It happened time ago in my Guild: if you kick him out, his teams will remain in the map.

Even mixed teams or weaker teams can be valuable on defense because your opponents still has to use one of their squads to take them out (which keeps them from using it against your guild stronger teams).

    This.

Seems like overkill to kick someone out for that. But I am curious to know what would happen if I had to kick someone out for another reason

Not any of this. At all
